The resulting wine has abundant fruit character on the nose with ripe notes of ripe clementine and candied lime. Warmer notes of baked apple and brioche are also prominent. On the palate, flavours of fresh squeezed grapefruit, peach and a touch of biscuit dominate, while gorgeous minerality on the back palate lends a touch of weight to a crisp and structured finish.

The Sauvignon Blanc grape originated from France’s Bordeaux and Loire valley regions. These vines are heat tolerant and grow quickly, requiring consistent pruning for best results. This Fume Blanc originates from two of the oldest Beamsville Bench vineyards.
