The Vintage Circle: Journey #3 - What’s Old is New Again: A Global Journey
The Vintage Circle
At Domaine Le Clos Jordanne, we believe that our passion for wine, its study, culture, and stories are woven into the fabric of who we are. It brings people together, sparks meaningful conversations, and deepens our appreciation for the world in every glass. It is in this spirit that we invite you to join The Vintage Circle.
This exclusive experience offers an exploration of compelling wine topics through thoughtfully structured, expert-led tastings, followed by a relaxed and convivial social hour. Our inaugural summer series will feature three engaging themes, each designed to inspire curiosity and connection.
With limited seating, The Vintage Circle is a rare and intimate experience curated for our Grand Famille. For those who share our passion for wine, these gatherings promise to be truly unforgettable!
Journey #3 - What’s Old is New Again: A Global Journey
Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026
Time: 7-9pm
Embark on a global masterclass that bridges the elegance of Europe with the bold expression of the New World. From the rolling hills of Tuscany and the storied vineyards of France, with a stop or two among the distinctive terroirs of Germany, Australia, South Africa, and Chile,—this curated six-wine flight is your passport to the world’s most celebrated regions.
Each glass reveals a new perspective, highlighting the nuances, traditions, and innovations that define these iconic and emerging landscapes. Discover the remarkable diversity of wine, and that no two bottles, even of the same variety, are ever the same!
Our host for the evening is Eugene Mlynczyk, Master of Wine, one of only nine in Canada.
Eugene Mlynczyk is one of Canada’s most celebrated wine professionals. His love of wine began while studying at Stanford University. After his return to Toronto, this interest flourished into a career in the industry, culminating with the notoriously difficult Master of Wine qualification in 2015, which Eugene passed on his first attempt. He is recognized as a passionate speaker, educator and international wine competition judge, and was presented with the Robert Mondavi Winery Award from the Institute of Masters of Wine as well as multiple blind-tasting awards during his 25+ year career. Currently, Eugene is the National Fine Wine Ambassador at Principle Fine Wines, the luxury team within Arterra Wines Canada. Finally, when not sharing wine with friends, Eugene can often be found in the woods competing in his favourite sport, orienteering.
Each session includes the guided, structured tasting as well as an additional glass of wine and selected charcuterie during the social hour to follow.
