This exclusive experience offers an exploration of compelling wine topics through thoughtfully structured, expert-led tastings, followed by a relaxed and convivial social hour. Our inaugural summer series will feature three engaging themes, each designed to inspire curiosity and connection.

Journey #1 - From Beamsville to Burgundy

Experience a guided tasting that brings together three exceptional wines from Niagara and three from Burgundy, thoughtfully selected to showcase the nuances of their specific terroir. This immersive journey begins with an insider’s perspective on both regions—their storied villages, defining landscapes, and the spirit that shapes their wines.
With a focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, each pour reveals a dialogue between the Old World and the New, inviting you to discover how place, tradition, and craftsmanship express themselves in the glass.
Our host for the evening will be Lindsay Hildebrand, local Niagara native and engaging educator extraordinaire.
Lindsay’s interest in wine was kindled from a young age growing up on a farm in the then pioneering wine region of Niagara. The early growth and opportunity in this new-found field led him to various roles in wine and food throughout the region and then eventually overseas. Wine education was always a foundation of Lindsay’s journey and he earned his Sommelier Diploma in 2000 followed with the WSET Diploma in 2009. He and his family now call Ontario home after many years in Calgary. Lindsay is always looking for great glass of Riesling and has an eye out for the next secret trout stream.
Each session includes the guided, structured tasting as well as an additional glass of wine and selected charcuterie during the social hour to follow.
