This dry style Rosé bursts wth vibrant aromas of strawberries, melons and citrus. Medium bodied and expertly balanced with crisp refreshing acidity, this wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif or paired with salads, grilled fish, tapenades, spicy stir-fry and soft cheeses.
The fruit for this expressive Rosé comes from our select Niagara Peninsula vineyards. The fruit was harvested separately, destemmed and immediately pressed and cold fermented at 16 degrees for 10 days. Each block was fermented separately, then blended back to create the perfect harmony of the Niagara terroir.
Our Rosé is a blend of 50% Cabernet Franc, 35% Chardonnay and 15% Gewürztraminer. Aromas of seasonal strawberry, watermelon, stone fruit, lemon zest and hints of lilac predominate. On the palate, lingering strawberry and ripe red apple are balanced with crisp acidity, followed by a pleasantly medicinal, mouthwatering finish.
