This unique wine displays hints of fresh cut grass and refreshing lime zest, complemented by subtle vanilla oak overtones, balanced by clean, crisp acidity.
Grapes for this popular variety were harvested from a select vineyard in the Niagara Peninsula. Crushed and pressed immediately upon arrival to the winery the juice was cold settled and racked into new and mature French barrels. After fermentation was complete the wine was allowed to age for 3 months before racking to stainless steel to await bottling.
Bright aromatics of grapefruit, green apple and passion fruit integrate beautifully with the touch of warm vanilla and spice notes. This wine has a vibrant acidity with a smooth mouthfeel and a lengthy fruit filled finish.
