Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Citrus and ripe apple aromas dominate the nose and hint at the balance on the palate. This wine offers some sweetness which provides a soft mouthfeel and tropical and citrus flavours. The balancing acidity refreshes the palate on the finish.
Vineyard Notes
The 2019 harvest was predictably late in getting underway, starting September 6th. The sunny, cool weather and low humidity that kicked off harvest allowed the fruit to develop phenolic ripeness for an extended period without breaking down. There was an unusual and early cold snap in mid-November, along with close to 30 cm of snow on November 11th. Growers were confronted with some challenges as they navigated machinery through snowy vineyards, but prevailed successfully and wrapped up harvest on November 26th.
Production Notes
Grapes were harvested from select vineyards throughout the Niagara Peninsula to produce this popular variety. Crushed and pressed immediately upon arrival at the winery the juice was allowed to cold settle over night before racking to a stainless steel tank. Fermented at a cool 15 C for 15 days the wine was allowed to retain some residual sweetness to balance the wines crisp natural acidity.
Winemaker Notes
This well liked varietal wine, has abundance of aromatics including lemon, lime and floral notes. On the palette flavours of peach and citrus integrate well with the appealing sweetness and dynamic acidity.
Food Pairing Notes
This wine is one of our most popular white wines which is great for simply sipping or it could span being used anywhere from reception, first course or right through to dessert. Baked or roasted apple as an accompaniment to your favourite roast. Roasted or bbq chicken with grilled lemon. Celery root soup with salt or encrusted roasted pickerel.

I am new to the wine world, and due to that fact I have done a lot of sampling of wines. I have had wines from all across the country and have had many wines from overseas. I have yet to find a wine with such an amazing aroma and flavor. The late Autumn Reisling is now the only wine I can even palette. I reccomend this wine to all of my friends and Family.

I as well am new to the wine scene. Perfer Riesling wines. This is my favourite of all. Not to dry not to sweet. Just perfect.

I try a new wine every time I go to the LCBO and this is, hands down, the best I've had so far. I love a nice, sweet or off-dry riesling, and this hovers somewhere between the two. I'd serve this ice-cold at a dinner party with spicy roasted cauliflower and grilled chicken, or with a croustini sampler with tangy goat cheese and spiced preserves.

My favourite wine! I bought it all the time at my local LCBO in Ottawa but can no longer enjoy it as I have moved to Calgary and apparently it can't be shipped here (although one shop in Edmonton has it......)

I actually do not like Riesling or Niagara wines, and I tried this one recently at a friends place and couldnt get over how good it is. Unlike other Rieslings the sweetness isnt so overpowering and with a thick syrup texture.

I am NOT a wine expert by any means, but a few weeks ago the name of this wine caught my eye..I love autumn..told you I was not an expert at choosing wines, but I DO know what I like and this wine won me at first taste. Wonderful served very cold. I may have chose this by chance at first, but always choose it now.

Was recommended this one by a friend, and now I recommend it to everyone. It is smooth, slightly sweet but not overpowering and with great overall flavour, overall a really refreshing wine. I am not a wine expert by any means but when my 91 year old grandfather decides this is his new favourite white wine you know it is a winner.

This is a beauty. It's not the traditional sweet German variety but a lovely aromatic dry wine. I've been searching for a Riesling like this for a long time - ever since I discovered a similar New Zealand Riesling way back when. This wine is an absolute bargain.

Watery, lacking in body and zero finish.

This is my new favourite wine, and many cashiers tell me its their favourite while I'm paying. Can't go wrong with that! Sorry Debra!

Tried this last night at a friends place and absolutely loved it. I'm a big white wine drinker and I really like Pinot Grigio's (Lady Lola). This is my new go to wine ❤️

I am proud to be Canadian. Inniskillin produces a Riesling that exceeds some of the German's. Great job

2012 Late Autumn Reisling was definitly not Late Autumn and tasted more like a white blend than a Reisling.

O.D.Tabbert - thank you for your review. There is a difference between a Late Harvest Riesling (sweet dessert wine - on its way to becoming an Icewine) and a Late Autumn Riesling (off-dry white table wine). This wines is meant to be slightly sweet, perfect for spicy foods or summer patios. We hope you will give it another try!

A superb white Riesling table wine not too dry with a perfect level of sweetness. Give it a try and you too will be greatly impressed. 👍

I'm not much of a wine drinker myself, and when I do I usually prefer red. I find white wine usually has a strange aftertaste and is too sweet. This wine however.... I can't overstate how much I enjoy this wine. The flavour is phenomenal, and I actually enjoy the aftertaste.

This is my FAVORITE white wine, ever! It is crisp with delicate sweetness and a balanced dryness.

I've had this wine many, many times before but the 2020 is simply amazing, with a light peach like flavor.

It is amazing on its own or pairs with almost any food, including an aged Cheddar, which I usually pair with a red.

Bottom line, I've tried many white wines all over the world. I used to sample wines at the Lcbo and in my opinion, and what I saw what region sold the best for whites is Ontario has the best white wines in the world, with Washington State a close second. California is overrated and over priced.

100 out of 100! Seriously, zero flaws!
