SAVE THE DATE FOR OUR HOLIDAY EVENT

It’s that time of year again… the holidays will be soon upon us and we would like celebrate the festive season with you! Please SAVE THE DATE for the Wine Club Member Holiday Party. Our Annual Wine Club Holiday Party is the event of the season.

We will be hosting our exclusive, members-only parties on November 20 & 21, 2015.

Join us for some great wines, fabulous food prepared by Tim MacKiddie and our Great Estates Culinary Team and a chance to stock your cellar with some favourites perfect for entertaining over the busy holiday season.

Tickets will be available mid-late October (approximately one month prior to the event). Tickets are available first come, first served. As is past years, we will be holding multiple sessions of the same party to welcome as many members to this exclusive event as we can!

We know you love this event and we would hate for you to miss out. Watch your email to secure your tickets. This party is offered complimentary for 2 people per paid membership. Space is limited. Full event details to follow.

JOIN US THIS FALL AT THE WINERIES

Fall brings a return of cool nights and even cooler mini-events to keep you warm! Join us weekends at Jackson-Triggs and Inniskillin for fun mini events. You’ll experience a seasonally themed wine and food pairing that changes each month from October-March. $10 each. Please keep in mind that these complimentary mini-events are offered by Inniskillin and Jackson-Triggs. Although we participate in many Passport programs that are offered in conjunction with other wineries or winery festivals, those are not included in the complimentary Wine Club experiences. Other programs not part of the complimentary mini events include Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake passport programs such as Sip and Sizzle, Taste the Season, Days of Wine & Chocolate; and the Niagara Wine Festival passport programs such as New Vintage Festival, Fall Wine Festival and Icewine Festival.

2013 INNISKILLIN NIAGARA ESTATE SERIES MERITAGE
This wine displays beautiful aromatics of tobacco and toasty vanilla, complemented by flavours of black cherry, plum and hints of chocolate. Try this wine with braised short ribs or beef stew, grilled rib eye steak with roasted garlic butter or tomato clove chutney with aged cheddar. Enjoy this wine through until 2017. Consider decanting it if you are drinking it within the next 2 years. $19.95

2013 JACKSON-TRIGGS GRAND RESERVE RIESLING
This Riesling is a refreshing wine with prominent notes of citrus, followed by ripe stonefruit and hints of wet rock. The palate has a crisp and lively acidity and dominant citrus flavours; overall this Riesling shows great balance and a clean zesty finish. 2014 INNISKILLIN DISCOVERY SERIES SUSSE RESERVE RIESLING
Susse Reserve means that a small amount of unfermented grape juice that is reserved and later added to the finished wine to add concentration and complexity. The resulting wine has abundant aromatics of peach and honey; flavours of tropical fruit, lemon and lime balanced by a crisp refreshing acidity. Pair with prosciutto and melon, bacon wrapped scallops or cheese fondue. $22.95

2012 LE CLOS JORDANNE VILLAGE RESERVE PINOT NOIR
This wine shows an elegant multilayered bouquet of blackberries, cherry red fruit, along with plummy and light chocolate tones. Overall, this wine displays a complex bouquet of red and black fruits, a rich and concentrated palate, and a great balance due to the natural acidity of the vintage. $30.00

2012 JACKSON-TRIGGS DELAINE FUME BLANC
This wine combines the fresh-cut grass and grapefruit notes of Sauvignon Blanc with the rich toasty notes derived from barrel ageing. The palate is round and smooth, with crisp acidity, citrus and tropical flavours and a long finish. Enjoy this wine by 2016. $24.95

This wine is a unique blend of Pinot Noir (49%), Pinot Grigio (35%) and Pinot Blanc (16%). This intriguing wine provides notes of lemon and lime, along with floral notes and a touch of vanilla. 2011 LE CLOS JORDANNE CLAYSTONE TERRACE PINOT NOIR
Claystone Terrace Pinot Noir is a wine that reveals complex masculine notes of black fruits such as blackberries and blackcurrants, as well as aromas of gaminess, chocolate, and earthiness. Despite rustic characteristics, this wine is overall balanced with strong limestone minerality and a pleasant, thick and sappy texture creating much tension in the mouthfeel. $45.00

2014 INNISKILLIN SINGLE VINEYARD SERIES KLOSE VINEYARD RIESLING
This debut wine from one of our favourite vineyards is absolutely fabulous! This single vineyard Riesling boasts exotic flavours of citrus and white peach all balanced by a crisp lively acidity. Try this refreshing wine with pear and arugula salad; goat cheese and herbed crostini; Perogies with cheese and herb filling. Although most aromatic white wines are best enjoyed young and vibrant, aged Rieslings take on a distinct flavour profile.
